Summer 2024 Goals

  • No spending more than $100 a month.
    • No spending money on shopping (you don’t need any clothes, books, items, etc) right now; if you need something try to supplement it with something you already have; otherwise think it through for a couple days before you decide to buy it.
    • No getting drinks when you go out to restaurants–water better for you in general.
    • You can only buy coffee twice a week.
    • No buying skin/hair/makeup products unless it’s to refill something you ran out of.

  • Go to bed earlier and wake up earlier.
    • Aim to go to bed by 11pm and no later than 12am on weeknights.
    • Aim to wake up at 7am and no later than 9am on weekdays.
    • Aim to go to bed by 12am and no later than 1am on weekends.
    • Aim to wake up at 9am and no later than 10:30am on weekends.

  • Write three mixes this summer.
    • Write first mix by June 15.
    • Write second mix by July 15.
    • Write third mix by August 15.

  • Get a job.
    • Apply to EVERYTHING
    • Don’t be afraid to check up on places/ask if they’re hiring/ask for updates

  • Ween out smoking (and drinking) to set yourself up to quit by the end of the year.
    • No smoking more than two nights in row.
    • No smoking Sun-Wed.
      • Bring this down to no smoking Sat-Wed by August 30.
    • No drinking more than twice a month.

  • Drink at least 72 ounces of water a day.
    • Bring your waterbottle with you everywhere when you go outside.

  • Stop wasting so much time on your phone
    • Delete tiktok.
    • Mute social media notifications.
    • If you are going to spend time on your phone, try to make it productive.
      • i.e. Watching self help youtubers, listening to audiobooks, etc.

  • Keep your finances in order.
    • Find an application that can track all your accounts.
    • Invest $* a month.
    • Have $* in a high yeild savings account by the end of the summer.

  • Reduce (processed) sugar intake.
    • Slowly start reducing the amount of sugar you put in your coffee.
    • Stop letting "a sweet little treat" be the temporary solution to every emotional problem.
    • Avoid sugary drinks.
